    Darker Days Radio Episode #34

Dave "Laser Sword and Jetpack" Brookshaw

Mark, Mike, and Chris join White Wolf freelancer David Brookshaw as he attempts the world record of "Longest Darker Days Episode." The crew begins with the mailbag and then gives its thoughts on White Wolf's new V20 Companion kickstarter. Chris treats everyone to the disturbing tale of Robert the Doll, straight from the history of Key West. From there we enter into a lengthy Q&A with Dave, discussing everything from Greeks in Space to Mage to More Mage to Vampire to Changeling. It's a doozy.

We end the episode with a very special farewell to longtime host and podcast founder, Mark. Good luck man!

Mark! The news of your departure from the podcast hit our home pretty hard. The ghouls could not stop meeping and crying, and one of the werechickens is now in therapy.

    Sad day. :-(

Seriously though, we sure will miss your dulcet tones on the podcast. Thanks for all your work making our hobby even better. If you are ever in the states, feel free to drop in to Chateau Law-Possible. You are always welcome.

All my best in his future endeavors. I am sure he will be missed. That said this ep is very interesting I loved the talk about Robert the doll!
How did Vampires in Ancient Rome be able to form a near-global organisation, but modern Vampires fail to even communicate with the city nearest to their own? If you say Predator's Taint or Xenophobia, I'll kill a kitten. I swear I will. -fatih

It was quite a great episode to record. I'm looking forward to starting a series of Darklings very soon. Plus I am also very close to beginning the second season of my Vampire the Requiem game, so there will be plenty of posts here and at my gaming blog of actual play reports.

Steph and Kim!  Hey guys!  :D. Since we lost our old forums I've often wondered if you folks were still tuning in - really glad to hear that's the case.  You were an integral part of building the Darker Days community - from your admin work at the old forums, Kim, to your awesome Secret Frequencies, Steph - and the show wouldn't have been the same without you.  So a big thank you from me to you both!  I may well be over in the States before too long so I'll be sure to drop you a line if that pans out.  And please give my best to the werechickens.  They are a temperamental breed at best!

Thanks also Harlequin!  Although I note that my username is now somewhat innacurate... ;)
