Thanks to the heads up from our friends at DDR (Darker Days Radio) it was pointed out there is ONE panel that lists a CCP employee. The Friday panel of "Transgender Issues in gaming". Yea, I know. Not quite the ideal topic IMO (NOT that I have any issues with gay, bi-sexual, transgender people, characters or topics, it simply does not interest me considering some of the other panels at the same time this one is.) However, one of those on this panel is Jannell Jaquays who according to the PAX East site is the lead level designer of the WoD MMO! So I will be doing my best to snag some time with her after the panel. I think it is also fair to assume if one person from CCP is present one or two others may also be wandering the halls as well. We shall see.
I also have confirmation former CCP community/marketing manager Shane Defreest will be in attendance as well and I have tentative plans to meet up at some point with him. So hopefully some interesting video blogging we will be posting from the floor of PAX East. Any questions or suggestions for interview questions feel free to post here.

I wonder if by "transgender issues" they are actually referring to those gamers who play opposite gender characters.

I find this topic, specially given who is on the panel, interesting. They may address this directly, but i'd be curious to know what influence they think these transgender issues may have on the World of Darkness mmo.

Here's a few of my questions: How open do they plan this world to be? Will I be able to travel, say, from rooftop to rooftop if I wanted, then smoothly drop down to street level? What is the combat like? Automatic, or more interactive such as pressing a button to perform an attack? (personally, I'd prefer the latter, if possible. Automatic attacks make sense for a space ship, but watching my vamp do that could get boring really fast.) How are Disciplines going to work? Powers like Fortitude or Potence will most obviously be built into the combat, but what about the more social ones like Dominate, Presence, or Dementate? Considering how EVE's Incarna was (as I've heard through the grapevine) a very rough test for what CCP was planning to do in their WOD MMO, how much like, or different will it be? Lastly, and I know I'm fan-girling here, but lastly will there be any references from either V:tM - Bloodlines or Redemption? Thank you for considering!
