Why not add it to the game an if you don't want to do it, just don't. No need to punish those who want it when simply not doing it, you win and so do the players that want it.

to say if you dont wana do it dont do it its like saying if u dont wana do it dont play the game. cause what he is saying is no PVE grind to all mighty hell that gets old; just to get the best items in game to be competitive. And PVE never in 10+ yrs has never proven to be a good fair or even quasy ok end game. If you look at the games that have really lasted stood up straight to the test of time.... UO almoust 15yrs basically no PVE Epic gear grind 0%>>> best ever... CCP EVE all player strugle end game based>> ShadowBane players didnt even wana let that go they even started to make the game back up from scratch and u can get to end game in 1 day. Games that have PVP SandBox end games. PVE is over rated human can create so much when it comes to AI on any given program...HELL you wana fight the most ubber boss that every time u fight him he does some weird new tactic move or pops up in a tatally diferent zone all together.... look at the top player on the leader boards and hunt him down. There is a ever changeing challengeing self evolveing Quest for you. If not ill need some resourcess look me up in the game if u like flower picking and that kinda shit ill pay u U go pick up them daisy's. Ptssss

I hope there's SOME kind of end game content. No PvE flat out sucks in an MMO. That's as bad as having Raiding but having no loot rewards for completing a challenging experience.

I didn't say no PVE. I said no gear progression and 'so-called' raid content which you only need to grind to get the next tier of gear which you need for the next raid and so on and so on and so on. Thankfully CCP is the only MMO developer in the world who has actually DONE a sandbox MMO with good graphics, so I have my hopes up. Some garage-level freegames notwithstanding.

Software development is slow and CCP seems like the company to understand that quality comes with time. But, their in-house 'pre-alpha' doesn't mean much. I mean, I always think back to Incarna's launch last year and the debacle resulting and must remind others that Incarna is not that well optimized, probably not even now, and it will be several years before an MMO completely based around it will be possible. Consider the cost of having multiple clients fighting or interacting in a zone rendered by the engine. My mediocre-rig (which wasn't... that mediocre) last year could barely run the tiny cabin area in EVE on medium. Enabling very complex effects like reflections killed my FPS while docked. An MMO needs to be light on graphics, as you need to render many dynamic events constantly. Besides, you want to reach a large audience with your game, and limiting that audience by hardware is a no-no. I'm looking forward to the game, but every time CCP jumps out to remind us that they're still "working on the game" I can't help but look at Duke Nukem Forever and note how long it took for that game to finally see the light of day. This game was announced in 2006 and it's 2012 now. I would not be optimistic when CCP already has to deal with DUST514 this fall. Its success will be pivotal to the amount of time until they ramp up their third MMO's development.

Makes me happy to keep having updates, every once in a while. Slowly but surely I guess.

So, here's hoping that afterwards we fledgelings will finally get some new info from the Elders at CCP.

It's nice to see they are farther along than I thought they'd be, or that they were letting on before. Still, even with a test, it doesn't mean they have a TON figured out. They still have a long way. (Probably.) But I'm prepared to wait for a time.

Already a playable demo? Internal or not, that suggests they're way further along than I thought they'd be at this point. WOOHOO!!
