Alleged image from CCP Carbon testing

According to our friends at the WoD MMO Russia site this image was taken 2-3 years ago (if my understanding of the Russian translation is accurate), showing off Carbon during what they are calling a 'test'. I have to assume a in-house test. Clearly this prototype screenshot if valid is showing what Walking-in-Stations (WiS) was supposed to deliver. As the image clearly is showing a EVE type of setting, but also shows the capabilities of what the WiS/WoD MMO rendering engine is capable of since they use the same base code. Feel free to post your thoughts.

Boy, that looks familiar. That's the bar that those of us who were at Fanfest 2008 got to walk around. Good times.

IF this is what they had 2-3 years ago, and what they tested in Iceland recently was "bare bones", I wonder what it looked like... I asked the Wodgame.ru admin about the source of this picture: AiryKai ‏@AiryKai @litenforlano I do not remember. I found this image on my PC :)

The gloss/sweat/oil effect on the Tatt'ed women is impressive.

Yeah, umm the one with the tAts, that's exactly how I'd use to describe her :P Yeah, could be a Setite. Most likely, too. lthough, there is a slim chance the following happened: *boss walks in* "Johnson! What are you doing there! Is that PORN?!" "Oh, no sir...that's err...a tech demo? Yeah, it's just a tech demo I was, umm, showing a proof of concept here. But...umm, the designers are not available to make this NPCs clothes that's why she looks like that" "Ah, all right Johnson, I see you're just doing your job. Keep up the good work."
